Come and build Kemptron’s future production environment in a new, key role!
Senior ERP/IT Lead
Kemptron is looking for a senior ERP/IT professional to take a key role in shaping the next phase of its enterprise operating systems and technology landscape.
This is not a traditional corporate IT support role. It is a hands-on, business-critical position at the intersection of production, engineering, quality, supply chain, and enterprise systems. The role combines ERP development and cross-functional integration in an EMS environment where operational continuity, traceability, and scalable digital foundations matter.
In this role, you will help define how the ERP should support the business going forward, and how IT and OT should work together in a secure, practical, and maintainable way. For the right person, this is an opportunity to make a visible impact in a company where manufacturing reality, digitalization, and business execution come together.
This role offers you a rare combination of strategic influence and hands-on execution. It is about creating structure, reliability, and forward momentum in an environment where technology directly supports operational performance.
Instead of stepping into a narrow specialist role with limited scope, you will have the opportunity to:
Own the ERP definition and implementation project from start to finish.
Influence the future ERP landscape and ensure its seamless fit with EMS processes.
Improve traceability, system integrations, and production-related data flows.
Work closely with both operational stakeholders and external technology partners.
Build practical solutions that directly affect manufacturing efficiency, supportability, and resilience.
Act as a key contributor in developing and implementing the OT environment in sync with the ERP.
See the concrete results of your own work and achievements on the factory floor.
The role is especially attractive if you enjoy operating in the space between factory floor realities and enterprise-level IT/ERP decisions.
What you will be doing
In this position, you will take ownership of key development topics across ERP, integrations, and IT/OT alignment.
Your work includes:
Leading ERP definition and implementation activities across all key functions of the EMS company (Production, Sourcing & Procurement, Engineering, Master Data Management/PDM, traceability, etc.).
Defining how production systems, traceability, test environments, and enterprise platforms fit and work together seamlessly.
Coordinating integration needs between the ERP and surrounding systems (e.g., master data, test data, warehouse, finance, and reporting).
Collaborating with internal stakeholders and external vendors to ensure solutions are practical, maintainable, cost-efficient, and aligned with Kemptron's business needs.
This role requires someone who moves comfortably between technical details, business processes, and execution leadership with a hands-on, can-do attitude.
What kind of background fits you best
This role is likely to appeal to you if you have experience in:
ERP definition and implementation roles within industrial businesses.
Electronics manufacturing or similar fast-paced industrial environments (nice-to-have)
Exploring or implementing digitalization/AI in industrial environments.
Fluency in both Finnish and English.
