The Role

You will lead and shape ResQ Club’s overall technology strategy by combining strategic architecture, delivery leadership, and cultural guidance ensuring a solid technical foundation for rapid product development, compliance, and sustainable growth. As part of your role you will drive a full-scale system renewal and modernization program, guiding the platform toward greater scalability, reliability, and long-term innovation

Key responsibilities

• Shape and lead ResQ Club’s technology strategy, architecture, and full-scale modernization
• Build, mentor and grow a strong, collaborative, and learning-focused tech organization
• Define the technical vision and architecture for ResQ’s software platform
• Own the technology roadmap and drive system renewal from inception to rollout
• Ensure scalable, secure, and high-performing technology delivery
• Balance strategic innovation with pragmatic delivery to ensure business continuity
• Establish and champion best practices in software engineering (CI/CD, DevOps, code quality)
• Foster a culture of accountability, learning, and technical excellence

What We’re Looking For

• Deep technical expertise in modern backend technologies (static and dynamic languages), cloud infrastructure, software architecture, and data pipelines
• Empathic and collaborative leader with strong interpersonal and cross-functional communication skills
• Demonstrated success in leading large-scale system renewals and modernization projects
• Familiar with compliance-driven industries (e.g., payments, fintech, marketplaces)
• Demonstrated success in leadership, which can include experience from work, volunteer projects, or other relevant contexts
